We've been mostly quiet through the winter/spring and haven't sent out many updates, mainly because life has slowed down a bit over here, and not a whole lot to report, aside from the occasional posts on social media.
Yet still, so much happens on a daily basis, and it's hard to capture and detail all the moments that make up a life. We continue to make music, but not always in the conventional sense.
One fun thing we did this winter was submit to our very first Tiny Desk Contest (if you're not familiar, NPR has an online Tiny Desk Concert series that is a bit of a rite of passage for many musicians, indie or not.
We sent in our song, On the Edge here. We'll be releasing a full band version sometime this year!
Melissa has continued teaching yoga in various places, including the TN Valley Museum of Art!
We have continued our connection to The Village School Foundation, participating in their monthly volunteer work days. We'll also be contributing music to a theatrical production coming soon to The Village School -
Waiting for Godot will be presented at The Village School June 11th - 14th, with Stephanie Crothers at the helm, directing some wonderful friends and characters of the community. Learn more here
