A house concert is a musical event or performance that takes place in a private space, such as a home, apartment, or backyard, rather than a public venue. Hosts typically invite friends and acquaintances, ask for RSVPs, and request donations to cover costs and pay the musicians. House concerts are known for being intimate, inexpensive, and focused on the show, with little to no distractions. 

You can make it like a dinner party/potluck style event, with music sets interspersed, or simply a music-focused concert event.
